Green Building Network - MD

This is your friendly reminder that the Green Building Network is meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, February 1 starting promptly at 6:30pm here at the DNR Building in Annapolis (directions below). For Part 3 of our 4 part series on residential green home building programs, we have Rich Dooley of the NAHB Research Center who will provide background information as to the state of green home building in the U.S. In addition, he will offer details about the first set of national green home building guidelines, i.e., NAHB's newly-released Model Green Home Building Guidelines. In being the Project Manager for the task to create the guidelines, his unique perspective offers an inside look to the process used to
create the guidelines and what is contained in the guidelines. Again, the last two GBN meetings have been standing room only (in a room that seats 75), so I suggest getting here early.

Below, as always, are upcoming events, announcements, and news articles. PLEASE NOTE: MEA just released a new grant program that helps you pay for solar power, so review closely! I very much look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and have a terrific day!
